Virtual-Agent Services is Listed in Entrepreneur Magazine's 10th Annual 100 Fastest-Growing Entrepreneurial Companies in the U.S.
SCHAUMBURG, IL (June 3, 2004) – Virtual-Agent Services, leading provider of inbound contact center services, is named one of the nation’s top 100 fastest-growing new entrepreneurial companies in the June 2004 issue of Entrepreneur magazine. Robert Camastro founded Virtual-Agent Services (VAS) in 1999 with 35 employees and one contact center. Today, with a staff of over 600 and a full network of ten centers, VAS is number 54 on Entrepreneur’s Hot 100 list.
The 10th Annual Hot 100 listing of fast-growing new businesses was compiled with assistance from D&B, a provider of global business information, tools and insight. Entrepreneur collected information and financial statements from up-and-coming entrepreneurial companies pulled from D&B’s massive database. Then, Entrepreneur measured each company’s sales growth from the date of inception, listing the businesses in growth order.
VAS attributes its success to the efforts of its employees. VAS utilizes a unique business model called the Distributed Workforce Concept which allows the company to locate contact centers in rural communities throughout the province of New Brunswick, Canada while networking the centers through advanced telephony technology into one "virtual" call center. This allows VAS the same flexibility and resources as traditional all-under-one-roof large centers but warrants better results. The targeted geographic areas offer untapped resources of high quality, work-ready labor, affording opportunity to those with otherwise limited career prospects. This assures VAS' clients that they are receiving top quality service from experienced employees.
"The proof of the VAS model is in our results," commented Robert Camastro, President of VAS. "VAS contact centers consistently deliver some of the highest customer satisfaction scores and lowest attrition rates in the industry. Our clients tell us that our way is the best way. VAS will continue to expand in order to meet the growing demand of US customers without changing the formula that has proved to be so successful."
VAS provides a variety of call center support options including inbound sales and customer service, customer account maintenance, credit management, and reservations to major companies in five different industries including roadside assistance, retail sales, travel and hospitality, and utility services.
